Poetic Expressions of Hope, Love, and Forgiveness

Poetry is more than mere words; it is an expression of our soul that cries out to be heard. It is an opportunity to be authentic or not to be. I invite you to allow my words to invade your mind, touch your soul, and bring you closer to who God made you to be.

The Heart Behind the Ride: The Story of William Owens

A decade ago, the life William Owens had known for nearly thirty years came to an abrupt end. As a twenty-nine-year marriage closed its final chapter, William found himself standing in the quiet of an empty living room, facing the most pivotal crossroads of his life. In that silence, there were only two paths forward: he could become bitter, or he could become better.

Choosing the latter, William entered into a season of spiritual consecration, embarking on a twenty-one-day fast. It was during this time of physical hunger and spiritual seeking that the heavens seemed to open. In an instant invasion of grace, poetic words began to flood his heart—rhythms and verses that he had never sought before but could no longer contain. These words were not merely art; they were a lifeline. They became the foundation of his first book, a title whispered to his spirit during that fast: Naked Before God: Words That Express My Heart

My Poetic Journey

There is motion in my journey that expresses my faith.

A motion that takes me places God is leading me

Allows me to see faces God has ordained Lets me engage and be amazed as I am captured by His ways.

To exchange words with people that I meet and those who greet me.

It is in this space that poetry happens.

Would you like to join my journey and experience the reality of faith lived, faith expressed, and moments captured by poetry?
